Back in the day when we were toying around with automated news categorization, we simply matched news articles to categories as featured on major news sites. We recently upped our game to the full content taxonomy as defined by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). That’s right, our AI will devour any online text article and put it in one of the 600+ IAB content categories with a stellar accuracy rate!! Not an unnecessary luxury for both DSP’s and SSP’s as ‘brand suitability’ gains traction in the programmatic ad buying arena.
